Very helpful.
This one of the handiest items for people recovering from hip replacement. Since I am not supposed to bend, I use the shoehorn part to get my shoes on and the other end is helpful in dressing, pulling things to me, etc. I got one in rehab but ordered another to have in the bedroom as well as the bathroom.

Very useful, could be made more durable
This is a very useful product for those with arthritis, however, the plastic 'S' hook at one end breaks after repeated usage (several months of standard use). It would help if it was reinforced. If it wasn't for that, I would rate it 5 stars.
